The second Saturday is already upon us. We'll have our usual bee meeting this Saturday. I'll be there by 9:30 and we can stay as long as we want. I want to see what you all worked on at the retreat and hear all about the fun. We also have a few things to discuss:
1) retreat dates for Margie's next year
2) Christmas retreat - It sounds like we agreed to do the home made gift exchange again? I missed that vote somehow :-)
3) Annual birthday celebration. We usually celebrate birthdays all together once a year, so let's plan a fun day in June or July. We could do a road trip, mini shop hop, go out to eat, or just have our own celebration at the community center.

ReplyDeleteI cannot make this meeting, have to pick up quilts in brenham, go to giddings shop to pick up order, go to la grange to pick up items I left behind and vist a cousin I haven't seen in a while! This is the only weekend I can get this stuff done! My vote for items above:
ReplyDelete1. First weekend in April 2014 is ok with me, but cannot confirm my attendance yet.
2. I am ok with whatever majority decides.
3. I vote road trip for bday meeting - maybe in a direction we haven't gone to yet, like San Antonio, Austin, Temple etc. I think Temple has a quilt show in June or July, but cannot confirm my attendance until date is set.
Let me know what is decided on all the items for discussion.
