Did we all survive quilt festival? I spent less this year than any other year so I'm happy with myself. Now to find time to get these projects done; especially the few I have set aside for Christmas gifts.
Before I get into the retreat...I need to know who is planning on attending our bee meeting on November 23rd. If we don't have more than 3 people I will call Connie and cancel the November meeting. Please reply on the blog or email to me if you will be at Quilt Works on 11/23.
Now...our retreat at Premier Estates in Wallis is quickly approaching. Dec 6th - 8th. We can arrive after 1:00 PM on Friday. If you need directions, please click on the link above to get the address.
Those of us that are participating in the gift exchange should have received your gift recipient's name by now. The limit is $25 and we will NOT be doing it secret sister style, so bring your wrapped gift ready to exchange.
I've heard from most everyone as to your meal preference. Since there are 12 of us attending and 5 meals, I have 3 people assigned to the evening meals since those are bigger meals and more costly. As usual, Friday lunch you are on your own since we are all arriving at different times. We all usually bring treats and snacks to share - there is NEVER a lack of food at our retreats!
I think that's all for now. Hope to see you on the 23rd at Quilt Works - let me know!

Also if you have a chance take a look at youtube Elenore Burns Hole in the wall quilt I think it might make a good quilt for the quilt show raffle.
